Race: Deepgnome

Deep Gnomes are a breed of gnome that have chosen to live their life underground in large caverns where thousands upon thousands of Gnomes live together. Deep Gnomes while being strong, intelligent and fast lack the hardiness of some of the worlds larger races. After living under the ground for so long Deep Gnomes have adapted to the dark subterranean caves and thus have adapted to the lack of light and can now see rather well in complete darkness. Unfortunately living underground has it's downsides and due to centuries underground the gnomes can no longer stand direct contact from sunlight. Deep Gnomes can excel in most positions as they make slightly above average spellcasters as well as being strong enough to deal out some damage.
